Knowing your skin type can make choosing skincare products much easier.
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and leave your skin without skincare products for a short period. Observe how it feels.
If your entire face feels tight or dry, you may have dry skin.
If your face becomes shiny, especially around the forehead, nose and chin, you may have oily skin.
If your cheeks feel dry but your T-zone becomes oily, you may have combination skin.
If your skin generally feels comfortable without excessive dryness or oiliness, you may have normal skin.
Some people also have sensitive skin, meaning their skin can react easily to certain products.
Remember that skin can change with weather, hormones, age and lifestyle. Your skin type isn’t necessarily permanent.
